Simulator

Tire pressure, road condition, bumps, muscle memory, consistency, hands and eye synchronization, and other in-game telemetry data are converted into motion and vibration input through the steering wheel / virtual chassis in the AK-SRT, making it seem as realistic as possible ( DBOX motion system).

Crashing in a simulator is much cheaper than crashing in a real car

ARCADE is easy, AK SIM RACING TRAILER is the closest thing to the race track experience

The designers of simulation games prioritize accuracy above fun. They retain their status as games while adding practical applications. This is evidenced by the fact that many professional racecar drivers utilize AK-SRT to familiarize themselves with both the tracks and the vehicles they’ll be using in the actual races they participate in.

If you don’t like racing with a camera in the cockpit, a stick shift, and no anti-lock brakes or traction control, you’re out of luck. It’s challenging enough to keep the car under control in a simulator, let alone complete a lap or a race without making any mistakes. To race in a realistic simulator is a psychologically taxing and difficult endeavor.

"Our $35K motion racing configuration (per simulator), which was previously only available to professionals, is now offered to the general public through AK-SRT."

- Alan Kong, CEO

In an AK-SRT simulator, WE HAVE THREE IN OUR TRAILER, the complicated automobile models compute the suspension’s response to your driving and the vehicle’s center of gravity as you move. As the tires degrade and the car’s temperature rises from locking a wheel or accelerating around a turn, the degree of grip changes over the course of a lap.

The tracks are almost as complicated, usually having been laser scanned to faithfully duplicate every bump and fracture. Not only does the track’s temperature fluctuate during the course of a session, but so does the amount of rubber left behind by the tires. Wind speed and direction, relative humidity, and ambient temperature are further considerations. Then there are the hundreds of settings that make up the car’s configuration.

Getting in a car and going racing is not always an option. It takes a lot of time to get used to a new car on a new circuit. Due to these factors, mastering the car and circuit in a simulator saves you time and money.
